Report datasets

Every dataset of the report builder, its fields and the permission it needs.

A dataset is a ready made data source for reports. Each dataset needs the read permission of its area. The list in the builder only shows datasets you may read.

Fields and options

Invoices (Sales)

Invoice number, Type, Status, Customer, Customer number, Issue date, Due date, Currency, Net, VAT, Gross, Paid, Open, Dunning level. Needs read access to sales invoices.

Invoice lines (Sales)

Invoice number, Status, Issue date, Customer, Description, SKU, Quantity, Unit price, VAT rate, Net, Gross, Revenue account, Cost center. Needs read access to sales invoices.

Customers (Sales)

Customer number, Name, Email, VAT ID, Currency, Credit limit, Active, Created. Needs read access to customers.

Bills (Purchasing)

Bill number, Vendor reference, Vendor, Status, Issue date, Due date, Currency, Net, Input VAT, Gross, Paid, Open. Needs read access to bills.

Expenses (Purchasing)

Number, Date, Description, Category, Vendor, Status, Account, Cost center, Net, Input VAT, Gross, Billable. Needs read access to expenses.

Journal lines (Finance)

Posting date, Entry number, Reference, Description, Account, Account name, Debit, Credit, Balance (Dr minus Cr), Tax code, Cost center, Source. Needs read access to accounting transactions.

Time entries (Operations)

Date, Project, User, Activity, Description, Hours, Billable, Billed, Status, Value, Cost. Needs the time tracking report permission.

Employees (HR)

Personnel number, First name, Last name, Department, Position, Job title, Hire date, Contract end, Termination, Weekly hours, Vacation days, Cost center, Salary. Needs the HR report permission. The Salary field also needs the salary read permission.

Stock moves (Operations)

Date, SKU, Product, Warehouse, State, Quantity, Value, Reference. Needs read access to inventory stock.

Expense claims (HR)

Number, Employee, Title, Status, Submitted, Net, VAT, Gross, Payable. Needs read access to expense claims.

Projects (Operations)

Code, Project, Customer, Status, Billing, Budget, Budget hours, Hourly rate, Start, End. Needs read access to projects.

Leave requests (HR)

First name, Last name, Leave type, Category, From, To, Days, Status. Needs read access to leave requests.

Good to know

  • Datasets only show records of the company you are currently working in.
