Key figures (KPIs)

The key figures and charts available for dashboards, and which permission each one needs.

BizCortex calculates key figures (KPIs) and charts for the dashboard tiles. Each key figure is calculated when you open the dashboard, with your permissions. You only see key figures whose data your role may read. If one key figure fails, only that tile shows an error.

Until you or an administrator save your own dashboard, BizCortex shows a built in default dashboard for your role.

Who can use this

  • Every member (each key figure needs the read permission of its data)

Fields and options

Finance

Revenue (MTD), Revenue (YTD), Expenses (MTD), Expenses (YTD), Profit (MTD), Profit (YTD) with comparison to the previous year and a 12 month trend; Cash position; Accounts receivable, Overdue receivables, DSO; Accounts payable, Overdue payables, DPO; VAT liability (current period) with its due date; Budget variance (YTD).

Sales

Quote pipeline, Quote conversion rate, Top customers (YTD), MRR, ARR, Churn (30 days).

HR

Headcount, Turnover (12 months), Sick rate (30 days), Open positions, Upcoming leave (14 days), Expiring contracts (60 days).

Operations

Stock value, Low stock items, Open manufacturing orders, Utilization (30 days), Unbilled time, Project budget burn.

Approvals

My pending approvals.

Charts

Revenue and expenses, Cash, Expenses by account (YTD), Invoiced revenue (net), MRR trend, Headcount, Tracked hours.

Default tiles per role

Owner: Revenue (MTD), Profit (YTD), Cash position, Overdue receivables. Accountant: Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, VAT liability, DSO. Sales: Quote pipeline, Quote conversion rate, MRR, Overdue receivables. Purchase: Accounts payable, Stock value, Low stock items, Open manufacturing orders. HR manager: Headcount, Sick rate, Open positions, Expiring contracts. Employee: My pending approvals. Viewer: Revenue (YTD), Profit (YTD), Accounts receivable, Accounts payable.

Good to know

  • MTD means month to date, YTD means year to date.
  • Stock value uses the cost price of the products, not the inventory valuation layers.
  • MRR counts only the base fees of subscription plans, without usage charges, coupons or add ons.
  • Key figures are calculated on each request and are not cached.
