Paying online

How customers pay an invoice by card or PayPal from the portal or the document link.

If your company has connected Stripe or PayPal under Payment gateways, open invoices show the card "Pay online" in the customer portal and on the public document page. The buttons read "Pay with Card (Stripe)" or "Pay with PayPal".

Steps

  1. 1. Start the payment

    The customer clicks a pay button. BizCortex creates a checkout for the open amount and sends the customer to the payment page of Stripe or PayPal.

  2. 2. Pay at the provider

    The customer enters card or PayPal details at the provider. BizCortex never sees card data.

  3. 3. Return to BizCortex

    After paying, the customer comes back and sees "Thank you for your payment. The confirmation may take a few minutes." If the customer cancels, the page shows "The payment was canceled."

  4. 4. Payment is recorded

    When the provider confirms the payment, BizCortex records it on the invoice. The open amount and the status update.

Good to know

  • Without a connected provider the page shows "Online payment is currently not available." or no pay card at all.
