Privacy and your data
Who sees your Assistant data, how long it is kept, and how to export or delete it.
Your Assistant data is yours alone. Even the Owner and Admins never see your mail, memory, chat, approvals or contacts. Administrators see only switches and counts on the Company tab. Support staff acting in your company and API keys cannot open Assistant content, and the Brain assistant cannot reach it either.
Sensitive text is stored encrypted. Your Microsoft sign in tokens are kept separately from Assistant data.

Steps
1. Shorten retention
Under "Retention", set shorter periods for Mail content, Mail metadata, Chat history and WhatsApp and SMS messages. You can only shorten them, never extend them. Older data is deleted automatically every night.
2. Export your data
Click "Download export" to get everything the Assistant stored about you as a ZIP file (Art. 15 and 20 GDPR). Secrets such as tokens and codes are never included.
3. Delete everything
Click "Delete everything", type DELETE and click "Delete permanently". This disconnects your mailbox and channels, revokes the delegation and permanently deletes contacts, mail, memory, chat and approvals. Your settings are kept. A message shows how many records were deleted.

Good to know
- Deleting everything cannot be undone.
- When a member is removed from the company, their Assistant data is deleted the same way.
- Meetings that were copied from Outlook into the BizCortex calendar are also removed when you delete everything.
