Switching system triggers
Turn the platform's own triggers on or off, adjust their thresholds and recipients, and run them now.
System triggers are what the platform does on its own, for example suggesting a document when a Company Brain template becomes ready, the Advisor's checks, or contract reminders. They are grouped by topic on the Active triggers tab. Each shows what starts it, when it last ran and how that run went.
Who can use this
- Seeing: every member with a built in role
- Changing and running: owners and administrators
Steps
1. Switch a trigger
Use the switch on the card. A switched off trigger does nothing until you switch it on again.
2. Adjust the settings
Choose Settings to change thresholds, such as a minimum amount or a number of days, and save.
3. Choose recipients
Add roles, members or email addresses under Recipients, or choose Reset to default.
4. Run now
Choose Run now. Settings you change in the dialog apply to this run only. Start with Dry run to see what would happen, then choose Run for real.
Tips
- A dry run changes nothing. Use it whenever you are unsure.
