- Cash runway
Runs every hour. Takes the balance of all bank accounts, subtracts bills due within the horizon and adds the expected incoming payments, then divides by the average monthly cash outflow. Reports when cash would run out within warning_days (default 90); critical below critical_days (default 30). Other defaults: horizon_days 30, receivable_collection_pct 80 (share of open receivables expected to arrive), burn_months 3. Needs at least a few months of bank history. Visible with bank account read access.
- Expense spike
Nightly. Spend in a category or with a vendor last month is well above the median of the months before. Defaults: baseline_months 6, min_increase_pct 30, z 3.0 (statistical distance from normal), min_amount 250; critical when spend is at least critical_factor (3.0) times the median. Visible with expense read access.
- Vendor price increase
Nightly. A recurring bill (a recurring bill profile or regular bills of the same amount) costs more than usual. Defaults: min_increase_pct 5, warning_pct 10 (Warning from this increase), min_amount 10, stable_pct 5 (how stable earlier amounts must be), recent_days 60. Visible with bill read access.
- Possible duplicate bill or payment
Nightly. Two bills of the same vendor with the same invoice number, or the same amount within window_days (7), or a bill that was paid twice within payment_window_days (5). Looks back lookback_days (120). A double payment is Critical. Visible with bill read access.
- Overdue receivables rising
Nightly. Overdue customer invoices have grown for months and are well above the usual level. Defaults: months 4, min_increase_pct 25, min_amount 1,000; critical at critical_factor 2.0 times the usual level. Suggests "Start a dunning run". Visible with invoice read access.
- Customer paying later
Nightly. A customer's payment delay clearly increases over the latest invoices. Defaults: min_invoices 5, recent 3 (latest invoices compared), min_days_increase 10, warning_days_increase 20. Visible with invoice read access.
- Customer concentration
Nightly. One customer accounts for a large share of revenue in the last 12 months. Defaults: max_share_pct 40, critical_share_pct 70, min_revenue 10,000. Visible with invoice read access.
- Budget overrun forecast
Nightly. Projected to the full year, the actual cost of an account exceeds its budget. Defaults: tolerance_pct 10, min_amount 500, min_elapsed_months 2. Critical when the actual cost already exceeds the budget. Suggests "Open budget vs actual". Visible with budget report access.
- VAT prepayment due
Nightly. The VAT payable of the last VAT return period is due soon, using the deadline rules of your country pack (including a permanent extension where it applies). Defaults: days_before 7, critical_days 2. Suggests "Open VAT return". Visible with tax return read access.
- Filing deadline coming up
Nightly. A statutory filing other than the periodic VAT return (for example the EC sales list, the payroll tax return, social security statements or an annual return) is due soon. The deadlines come from your company's country pack. Defaults: days_before 7, critical_days 2. Suggests "Open filings". Visible with tax return read access.
