Tasks: recurring tasks and reminders
How repeating tasks create their next occurrence and how reminders are sent.
A recurring task shows the hint "Completing it creates the next occurrence." When you complete it, BizCortex creates the next task in the series with the next due date. The new task copies the assignees, watchers, labels and checklist (all checklist items open again). The start date and the reminder move by the same amount of time.
If you reopen and complete the same task again, no duplicate is created. The series ends on the "Until" date or after the set number of occurrences. A recurring task without a due date starts today.

Fields and options
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly
The rhythm. Weekly rules can be limited to certain weekdays.
- Every
The interval, for example every 2 weeks.
- Until
The last possible date of the series.
Good to know
- Monthly rules skip months that do not have the day. A task on the 31st skips months with 30 days.
- Rules such as "the second Tuesday of the month" are not supported.
- Reminders are checked every 5 minutes. When the reminder time has passed and the task is still open, the assignees (or the creator, when nobody is assigned) receive an in app notification and an email. Each reminder is sent once. Changing the reminder time sets it again.
- There is no automatic "due tomorrow" summary. Only the reminder you set is sent.
