Taxes at a glance
The Taxes area: tax codes, VAT returns, EC sales list, OSS, filing extension, periods, VAT ID checks and settings.
Taxes lives in the Finance app. Click Taxes in the sidebar. All VAT figures are computed from your posted journal entries, using the tax code on each posting line. That is why correct tax codes on invoices, bills and bank postings matter.
Which items you see depends on the country of your company. German companies see "VAT return" (the UStVA) and "Filing extension". Companies in other countries see their own "VAT return" built from their country pack.
