TAN and PIN dialogs
How BizCortex asks for a TAN, a photoTAN, a chipTAN flicker code, an app confirmation or a payee check.
When the bank needs strong customer authentication, a dialog opens. The text explains what the bank wants: to fetch the accounts, to fetch the transactions, or to authorise a payment order.
Who can use this
- Owner
- Admin
- Accountant
Steps
1. Text TAN
Read the challenge, enter the TAN in the field "TAN" and click "Send TAN".
2. photoTAN
Scan the image with your TAN app and enter the TAN.
3. chipTAN flicker code
Hold your TAN generator to the black and white bars. Use "Slower" or "Faster" if the generator cannot read them.
4. Confirm in the app
The dialog "Confirm in the app" shows "Waiting for your confirmation in the banking app". Confirm in your banking app; BizCortex checks every three seconds and continues by itself.
5. Payee verification
For transfers, the bank may compare the payee name with the account holder. If the names do not match exactly, the dialog "Payee verification" shows the name the payee bank reports. Click "Execute anyway" to continue, or cancel.
6. PIN only
If the PIN is not stored, the dialog "Enter PIN" appears first. The PIN is used only for this operation and not stored.
Good to know
- A started TAN dialog belongs to the user who started it and expires after 10 minutes. Unfinished dialogs are wiped automatically.
