Leave liability

Calculate the provision for untaken leave for the annual accounts.

Open Finance, Leave liability (also available in HR, Reports, tab Leave liability). Untaken vacation days at the end of the year are a debt of the company to its employees and need a provision (Urlaubsrückstellung) in the annual accounts. BizCortex calculates it from the remaining leave in the leave module and the salaries in HR.

The formula is: remaining leave days times daily rate times (1 plus employer on costs). The daily rate is the annual gross salary divided by (working days per week times 52).
